FAQ

How do we work together?

You send me the work you need completing in the most convenient way e.g email, fax, post (recorded ideally), memory stick, CD ROM, along with a completed Booking Form detailing the criteria and timescales.  I then complete the work and return to you via the method agreed.  I am happy to send drafts of the work for approval if initially agreed.

Do we need to meet?

The idea of a Virtual Assistant is that the work can be completed without requiring any face-to-face contact and therefore your precious time.  However,  I am very happy to meet with you if that is your preference.  Often a face-to-face meeting is of great benefit to a new working relationship and is especially important for certain pieces of work.   I am more than happy to schedule this if it suits you.

What are your timescales, can you take on urgent pieces of work?

Standard turnaround is 24-48 hours, however this will be agreed upfront prior to commencement of work, via the booking form and discussions.  I am honest and set expectations accordingly.   I will also endeavour to meet urgent timescales that you have, so please do contact me with your request.

What are your working hours, do you work weekends and evenings?

My working hours are flexible due to the nature of the work, and I am happy to work evenings and weekends to meet a deadline.

Will you collect and deliver work?

I am happy to collect and deliver (at no charge) work to your office location if its within a reasonable distance from my base (Based in Wokingham, Berkshire).  I can arrange for a courier to collect from and deliver to your business location also.

Do we need to provide you with anything other than the work?

No – I have all the equipment and stationery that I need to complete your tasks, however if you want documents printed on your own company stationery then this will need to be supplied to me.

Quality

I am confident that you will be pleased with the service that I provide!  Any mistakes will of course be rectified free of charge.  Final proofreading remains the responsibility of the client.

I ask for feedback on the service that you received, upon completion of each task, via a form.  I want to make sure that I am offering a fantastic service and am very open to suggestions and constructive comments.

Confidentiality

It is my assurance that client discretion is paramount.  Non Disclosure Agreements can be signed should this be required, prior to commencement of work.

Do you offer a retainer service?

Yes – you can secure a certain number of hours per week or month to suit your needs.  Please contact me to discuss your requirements.
